The Georgia Tech Science Partners program matches STEM teachers with GT scientists. The scientists help teachers with lab development, demos, and serve as a resource for science fairs and other activities. The teachers teach the scientists about needs in education, curriculum development, and designing age-appropriate activities.

The GT scientists include faculty, research scientists, postdocs, and graduate students. We currently work with the following schools:

St. Francis Indian School, Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota
Kirtland Middle School, Kirtland, New Mexico
Zuni Middle School, Zuni, New Mexico
Tse’Yi’Gai High School, Zuba, New Mexico
Grady High, Atlanta, GA

If you are interested in participating in GT Science Partners as a scientist or a teacher, please contact Prof. Christine Payne in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
