Review paper accepted in Int. J. Quantum Chem.

Colin and I wrote a high-level review of recent advances in magic state distillation and gate compilation in the context of quantum chemistry calculations on a quantum computer. It has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Quantum Chemistry. A preprint version is available on the arXiv.

Update: Published version available here.

Quantum error correction paper posted on the ArXiv

Mauricio and I posted a paper titled Comparison of a quantum error correction threshold for exact and approximate errors to the ArXiv. The paper examines how different approximations of the same physical error lead to different results for the logical errors.
